Decca Aitkenhead

Decca Aitkenhead is the most award-winning interviewer in British history. She has been named ‘Broadsheet Interviewer of the Year’ five times at the British Press Awards, the Oscars of Fleet Street, whose judges praised, ‘her razor-sharp questioning’ and ‘uncanny ability to win her interviewees’ trust’, and marvelled: ‘Decca Aitkenhead makes one of the hardest tasks in journalism seem effortless.’ She has also won the ‘British Journalism Interviewer of the Year’ Award, the Catherine Pakenham awards, and is currently Chief Interviewer of the Sunday Times.
